CO2 emissions by country, and per person

The Guardian now has an interactive map (click here) showing CO2 emissions by countries and regions of the world for 2001-2006. Per capita emissions tell a different story:
Source: UNEP-GRID (click graph to enlarge). If the rich countries had the same level as China, greenhouse gases could be cut 30%. Our high-energy lifestyle is driving us to disaster, as Indian and Chinese delegates tried vainly to point out at Poznan. Public opinion is far in advance of governments on this issue, an HSBC survey shows.
