Based on a full-page advertisement in Variety magazine 2 Mar 2010 by 55 environmental organizations -- including Environmental Defence Canada, Greenpeace, FOE, Sierra Club, and Corporate Ethics International -- that shocked the oil industry into a multimillion dollar greenwash campaign.
